Gerald Todd Clark, Founder

A Certified Public Accountant by training and an entrepreneur by experience, Gerald T. (Todd) Clark is the founder and driving force behind My Space Self Storage. With a proven track record of transforming market opportunities into highly profitable ventures, Mr. Clark has built a diverse business portfolio from the ground up. In addition to owning twenty-six individual ServiceMaster franchises that generate annual revenues exceeding $2.3 Million, he owns and operates My Space Self Storage. The self-storage portfolio encompasses more than ten operating properties, two actively under construction, and several in the development pipeline, collectively commanding a market value in excess of $48 Million.

Reflecting the success of these enterprises, Mr. Clark’s personal financial statement shows an equity position greater than $32 Million, supported by more than $5 Million in current liquidity. Notably, the vast majority of his existing corporate debt is structured as non-recourse.

Todd maintains direct, hands-on oversight of his portfolio’s daily operations, regularly visiting each storage facility to identify emerging needs and asset-positioning opportunities. Retaining full P&L responsibility, he serves as the ultimate decision-maker for the entire My Space team, directing corporate strategy as it relates to portfolio management, property expansions, and overall financial performance.

Gary Gerrits, General Manager

Gary brings over 25 years of specialized experience in the development, construction, and management of self-storage properties. Possessing a broad-based knowledge of the industry, he conducts monthly or more frequent site visits to each operating location. Gary actively oversees the budget and performance metrics of the My Space portfolio, providing strategic recommendations to the Founder regarding new acquisitions, facility expansions, and remodeling initiatives.

Michael Clark, Project Manager

Mike and his dedicated team manage the execution and construction oversight of all new facility developments, property expansions, and structural remodels across the portfolio.

Sydney Clark, Architect

Holding a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, Sydney and her team lead the design phase of the development process. They are responsible for producing the comprehensive site plans, architectural modeling, and visual renderings required for new facilities, expansions, and renovations.

Javier Morales, Maintenance Manager

Javier and his team oversee the daily physical operations of the portfolio, ensuring that all facility repairs, routine upkeep, and property maintenance issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Judy Zabik, Controller

Leveraging a Master of Accounting degree, Judy directs the accounting and financial reporting functions across the Founder’s business entities. Beyond managing accounts payable and producing financial statements, she plays a central role in budget development and the administrative management of third-party vendors.
