Storage Builders, LLC completed the conversion for My Space Self Storage of the former Art Van furniture store at 5814 S. Pennsylvania Avenue in Lansing, MI in July 2010. The initial project was completed at a cost of $1.5 Million. In 2016 My Space Self Storage purchased the Fulton Electronics store at 5830 S. Pennsylvania Avenue and Storage Builders completed the conversion of this “annex” property to the Pennsylvania Avenue facility at a cost of $1.2 Million. The combined properties now generate annual revenues of $768,000 and were appraised in 2021 at a value of $6,920,000. The project was funded by LAFCU.
