My Space Self Storage has executed a Real Estate Purchase Agreement to acquire the property at 1640-1700 E. Nine Mile Road in Ferndale, MI. The entitlement process with the City of Ferndale is currently underway, and a signed financing commitment has been executed with Old National Bank.

Storage Builders, LLC has entered into a Not-To-Exceed Construction Contract to handle the conversion of the existing buildings and the construction of additional exterior ambient drive-up self-storage units. The total cost of construction is set at $7,500,000. Work is scheduled to commence in the fall of 2026 with completion targeted for late summer 2027. Upon completion, the project will deliver 95,000 total square feet encompassing 82,500 NRSF across 715 individual self-storage units.
